ASTROLOGY NEWS: Parents Stay Alert As Uranus Goes Direct and Venus Turns Retrograde

When Uranus goes direct, it can bring unexpected and sometimes even radical change. Uranus wakes us up. It is a planet that forces us to feel without warning. And its affect is most powerful a few days before it turns direct leading up to a few days following it's change in direction.

Last year,  the world witnessed a tragedy in Newtown, CT, one day after Uranus went direct in the sign of Aries on December 13, 2012. This year, every parent, teacher, nurturer, and friend needs to keep their eyes open, paying attention to any messages, signs, and even warnings because Uranus again is going direct in the sign of Aries in December.

Things to watch out for as Uranus goes direct on December 17, 2013.
  • Unexpected discoveries and inventions. This is what I love about Uranus. It brings those big surprises to peoples lives, both positive and negative. I'm hoping one day it brings a cure for type 1 diabetes into my daughters life!
  • Accidents. Drive carefully and responsibly. Watch out for electrical outlets or plugs not working properly. Especially if there is concern for fire.
  • Storms which could cause power outages.
  • Unexpected explosions, including human temper.
  • Rebels with or without a cause
  • People who seem on the edge. Uranus can push them off.
  • Travel could be disrupted due to mechanical concern.
To add to matters of the heart, Venus turns retrograde on December 21, 2013. Venus is the planet of love and relationships. From December 21, 2013 to January 31, 2014, you will begin reevaluating your relationships. Are they providing value? Are they worth continuing? What needs to change? This time period isn't about taking action. It's about becoming aware. Once Venus turns direct, you will have a better idea of what you need to do to improve your relationships. Some may end if they aren't helping you grow. And the ones that are, will blossom.

Let's make December and 2014 a time for love, peace and forgiveness!

Peace be with you all!
