And Isabella knows exactly what to do! Or does she? First, Isabella gets Baxter dressed…TWICE! Next they have a snack, but not without a CRASH and a BANG. And that’s just the beginning. Join Isabella in her very first picture book filled with lots of humor and adventure as she tries to keep Baxter from making a bigger mess.
What people are saying!
Yvonne W. (Amazon): “Students from PK-2nd will enjoy this book during read aloud time. If you are a teacher, there are many reading skills here: sequence, setting, character traits, predictions, inference, and drawing conclusions.”
C.L. Murphy (B&N): “Your kids will love to follow the adventures of Isabella and Baxter. I can’t wait to see what they get up to next! A pleasure to read.”
Breath of Fresh Air: “Fully mesmerized, Aryan, my son, went on to read it a record two times. (Initially, we both got together and read it out aloud and that got him going, or so it seems) Yes, the descriptions are super short and to the mark. Most importantly, you can read it one sitting.”

ReplyDeleteThanks Karen for visiting! They are the perfect duo for April Fools mischief!
DeleteStopping by from the blog hop to say hello. Books about responsibility that are cute and not overly preachy are super. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteHurrah, how fab it is available in paperback. I think of your blog post time and again about how to make great images in kids book work etc. Thanks for joining us on the kid lit blog hop and congrats on Isabella now in the paper realm.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great story. My daughter has a special bond with our youngest dog (which we got when my daughter was 3) and this story reminds me of them. She even used to have doggy school, but our hyper Pomeranian has yet to obey the "No Barking During Class" rule! Thanks for sharing it on the Kid Lit Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! So glad you enjoyed Isabella Babysits Baxter! We're a fan of your books too!
