Type One Diabetes

As a mom with a beautiful daughter who has type 1 diabetes, diagnosed on November 4, 2011, I live the highs and lows of this disease daily.

I have created this page to share our families highs and lows. And there have been many. I hope you will share your stories, experiences, and learning lessons too. I know I could continue using support until there is a CURE!

  1. My daughter has been experiencing a lot of lows this Summer, even with her insulin ratio adjusted. It is frustrating sometimes.

    1. Do you have a blog? I'd love to follow. Or a facebook page? Madison (my t1d) has been experiencing the same--lots of lows this summer. The heat seems to make her blood sugar drop. Funny thing is over the past couple of weeks, I've had to up her insulin more than 1 unit. I'm thinking it's a growth spurt.
