ASTROLOGY NEWS: Responsibility, Discipline and Leadership Are Key When Saturn and Uranus Change Direction in July 2014

Saturn teaches us our life lessons. It's the planet of karma. It is all about taking responsibility, being discipline and working hard for what you want to achieve. On July 21, 2014, Saturn goes direct in the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio is all about power, extremes and intensity. With Saturn in the sign of Scorpio, you will see people trying to achieve their goals against all odds, including countries who are fighting for their identity and survival.

Within days of Saturn going direct, Uranus goes retrograde on July 23rd in the sign of Aries. Uranus is all about the unexpected and unpredictable. Aries are leaders and are the first one's to start things. But they may be the last to finish.

Truthfully, these two planets changing direction so close to each other in such power hungry signs makes me a bit nervous. The Middle East is still volatile. Questions still unknown about who will become the leader. These two planets can trigger ego's to want it all at the cost of everything. And the United States needs to determine what responsibility it has to its people as things get very heated up in other areas of the world.

In addition, major electrical storms (including tornado's) and an earthquake could result. Change is inevitable. But with Uranus in the picture, not all change will be predictable.

On a personal level, start that project you've been wanting to start. It's also a time to keep an eye out for opportunities and go after the job you've been wanting. Make sure as you are making your choices, it's not for selfish reasons. Taking advantage of other people will leave you learning another major lesson.

In summary:

• Saturn will affect people's status, career and home. When it changes direction, it opens up opportunities for a move, a marriage, and a new job.
• Uranus brings unexpected news. It's the planet of technology and infrastructure. Advances can be made, as well as new discoveries. Every time Uranus changes direction, I pray that JDRF finds a cure for my daughters type 1 diabetes disease.
• It's a great time to start new projects.
• If you are experiencing any health concerns, especially around your stress-level, anxiety and heart, you may want to slow down. Take deep breaths and remember that each and every one of us can only do so much.
• Power struggles can result. Use self-control and stop before you say something that you will regret. 
• Positive leadership is key. And knowing when and how to lead is most important. 
• Major weather patterns - earthquake, electrical storm and even severe tornado's could result. 
• Tame the ego inside of you that craves power at the cost of everything and everyone. This will end up your greatest learning lesson if you don't.

ASTROLOGY NEWS: Watch Out When Mercury and Neptune Go Retrograde in June

With Mercury and Neptune going retrograde within days of each other in June, many will experience high emotions and over thinking things.

Mercury goes retrograde from June 7 - 30th, bringing with it lost emails, missed phone calls, and even computer crashes. Experts advise that this isn't a great time to sign contracts or make big purchases. Wait until Mercury goes direct. 

Neptune goes retrograde on June 9th in the water sign of Pisces. This is a great time to tap into your intuition. Listen to your inner voice because it can help guide you. 

Other areas these two planets can trigger include:

• Flooding
• Electrical storms 
• High emotions and over thinking things
• Dreams that can manifest into reality
• Unexpected accidents
• Miscommunication causing unnecessary hurt feelings

My recommendation:

• Drive slowly especially in the rain
• Be more cautious when boating
• Keep all drinks away from your computer because you are more likely to spill it during Mercury retrograde
• Hold off on signing contracts or making big purchases till July 1st
• If you have a cold, watch out that it doesn't develop into pneumonia
• Don't drink and drive
• Listen and repeat what someone else says because it is much easier for you to misinterpret what someone else means

ASTROLOGY NEWS: Tempers Fly In April Putting Us In Survival Mode

Political controversy has already begun and the stakes get higher in the next few weeks. We need leaders! We need ego's to be tamed. But the energy of the planets are causing friction and self-centered, egotistical decisions and actions. Power is the theme versus peace. We need leaders who are thinking about the people. We need leaders who think through their decisions. These planetary aspects create unexpected reactive decisions. These planetary aspects can make tempers flare.

On March 30th, Mercury goes retrograde. Get ready for lots of communication and technical mishaps, crashes and failures. Letters may be lost in the mail. Emails unexpectedly disappear. Computers may crash. And important phone calls missed. When Mercury goes retrograde, astrologers highly suggest putting off signing contracts because when Mercury goes direct it usually falls through. This is not a time to shake hands or form partnerships, because when Mercury goes direct usually those partnerships don't turn out to be what you think they were.

Then on April 9th, Pluto goes retrograde. Pluto is the planet of war and power. It also triggers depression. This planet takes it's time to create change. It makes us feel our pain and choices. In April, it goes retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn energy is one where people are dedicated to their goals. They take their time, making sure it kicks-off with a big bang.

Finally on April 15th and April 29th, we experience two Lunar Eclipses. They will reveal the truth. They will create change. Eclipses bring opportunity. But they also bring the unexpected.

There also is a grand cross going on in the sky. Basically this is what is causing friction and power struggles. It's like being in a room with three other nagging people.

So what will each of us experience?
On a worldly level, some unexpected message will occur. We'll see political forces stepping up their game. We'll learn more about Malaysia Flight 370. However, because Mercury will be retrograde, the information shared may be miscommunicated or even lost.

On a personal level, we really need to slow down. Accidents are more likely to happen. Think before you speak, because you may say something you later regret. Look at all the facts, breath, and stop pointing the finger. And realize that you aren't the only person living in this world, or in your home.

Use this energy to create. Use this energy to lead positively. Use this energy to think things through and be fair.

Things to watch out for:

• Depression.
• Alcoholism and drug overdose.
• Drive super carefully because with Mercury in retrograde accidents are more likely.
• Pay attention to the weather because tornado's and electrical storms will be stronger
• Watch your temper. Arguing and fighting is more prevalent.
• Try not to let things brew internally.
• Unrealistic lawsuits.
• Finish and submit your taxes early!

ASTROLOGY NEWS: March Brings Opportunity In Career, Home And Public Image

Every year, there are certain time periods that are better than other's for closing deals, changing jobs, moving, getting a promotion, buying real estate, or opening your own business. The first opportunity this year comes the first week of March when Jupiter goes direct on March 6!

Jupiter is the planet of opportunity, luck and expansion. It rules higher education, publishing, law, spirituality, and foreign travel. It also loves animals! With it in the sign of Cancer, it will also affect areas of health, home, family, and emotions. For those trying to get pregnant, this is a great time! If you are looking to make a family trip overseas, Jupiter will be pushing you to make your reservations. But Jupiter may also be what is causing you to put on a few pounds, so watch out for those late night munchies.

Jupiter isn't the only planet changing direction the first week of March. Saturn is too and it's turning retrograde. Saturn rules public image, status, and career. Saturn is the planet that teaches us our lessons. It's known as the planet of karma.

Saturn turning retrograde will force you to take a step back and reassess your plans; especially around your career and home. Saturn will be retrograde from March 2 to July 20, 2014. Use this time to figure out what you really want to do. Create a plan and then execute that plan this summer! If you would like to go back to school, begin getting your finances in order now. If you would like to start your own business, begin researching, building a business plan, and execute that plan this summer. This is the time to begin restructuring your life.

Jupiter and Saturn can get the ball moving for you. Saturn encourages you to think practically, while Jupiter can make you do things overboard. If you take your time and think things through, these two planets can work in your favor.

Here's the not so great news. With both planets in a water sign, get ready for one last storm. In addition, we most-likely will be hearing big news in the media. And I'm praying it doesn't involve the Winter Olympics in Russia. But the timing of these two planets changing direction and the areas they rule and the signs they are in, could prove to be tragic.

In summary:

• Watch out for overeating and over-spending
• Plan and think things through
• Keep an eye out for anyone who is depressed or taking drugs. Their mental state may not be in tact.
• Monitor and manage your health especially when it comes to blood and stress level.
• It's a great time to start your projects.
• A swollen head mentality won't work this time. Be humble!

ASTROLOGY NEWS: Four Major Astrological Events Makes November Unforgettable

Like last year, November will start the momentum for even bigger events to come in December. And I would keep my eyes wide open, paying attention to every sign and every message because that is how positive change can happen and negative events can be prevented, like the shooting in New Town, Connecticut.

We start the month with a Solar Eclipse on November 3rd in the sign of Scorpio. Eclipses are about endings and new beginnings. This solar eclipse will push you in the direction of creating a new you! Changing your image and reinventing yourself are themes for this eclipse. The image and persona you create is how others will then see you. Because the eclipse is in Scorpio, you also have to pay very close attention to your emotional self. Scorpion's are passionate and their passion is expressed through their emotions. Don't be afraid of expressing your love for something. But watch out for that Scorpion temper that can come out of the blue. If you don't feel good about who you are on the outside or inside, then it will be hard for you to feel love and appreciation. Appearance, self-worth, and image are the themes with this eclipse. This is a great time to work on your presentation style, get a new hairdo, go to the dermatologist, and buy a new wardrobe.

Then on November 7th, Jupiter turns retrograde. With the eclipse, you are working on the outer you-your appearance and image. With Jupiter retrograde, its time to work on the inner you. What do you value? What is holding you back? What are you fearing? And are you being true to yourself? Opportunities that present themselves usually are a result of seeds that have been planted in the past. You may be contacted by an old boss for a new job or a long lost friend may appear back in your life. Other events that may result include going back to school to finish your education, reentering the workforce, and volunteering your time. Inner growth and spiritualism is also highlighted.

Mercury gives us some relief when it does direct on November 10th! Mercury affects communication, travel and technology. When it goes direct, you won't experience as many upsets as you had when it was retrograde. The best time to sign contracts and accept a new job is after November 10th. Before that I wouldn't make any rash decisions.

Finally on November 13th, Neptune goes direct. Neptune is the planet where dreams can happen. But with everything, there is an opposite side of Neptune which takes you away from reality, creating a world of illusion. Neptune is the planet of dreams, fantasy, and illusion. Each of us has to take a step back, making sure we're not in denial. Sometimes all you need to do is take a look in the mirror to realize that you are the problem, not the other person. Also be aware of deception. What a sad world we live in that people could deceive us. With Neptune going direct, this could be a possible outcome. • Hurricane or unexpected snow storm can be a result of Jupiter and Neptune shifting directions within a week of each other.
• If you are having marrital issues, you really need to take a look in the mirror because you may be the problem. Image, appearance, and denial are themes.
• This is a great time to develop your intuition and tap into alternative methods. Spiritualism, inner growth, and awareness are the focus of Jupiter and Neptune.
• Volunteer your time!
• Let your creative side explode. Draw. Bake. Knit. Act. Anything creative is healthy and a great use of the Jupiter and Neptune energy.
• In November, our government will continue governing our country with goggle eyes. But it won't last forever. And self-ego could backfire mid-December.
• Pay attention to people who are depressed or have created major image changes. They may be more suicidal.
• Watch out for drugs and alcohol abuse.
• The start to the flu season could be rough. And if you develop pneumonia, go see your doctor immediately. Jupiter and Neptune are water planets, making your illness worse.
• Start creating your dreams and realize that it is only you that is holding you back.
• Lastly, stop pointing the finger at everyone else. Accept your mistakes and move on to creating a better you!
